According to Om Malik Joost is getting close to launch, where anyone can join. As it is, anyone currently a beta member can invite as many people as we want, so if any of you can't wait for the launch, let me know the first and last name to use and an email, and I'll send invites.

It would also seem that Joost is getting new content, including CNN and old reruns of Charlies Angels. Actually, I'm holding out for the Bionic Woman, myself.

Also note for Joost users: Joost registry settings in Windows XP conflict with iTunes. Whenever you install Joost, expect iTunes to have to re-configure itself the first time used. I reported this problem, but it still seems to be happening.

I'm still trying to figure out how to exit when it is in full screen mode - so far the only way I can exit is drop to less than full screen so I can access the application bar and then right click close - AFAIK there is no exit command or menu item :)

Double click on the screen, Doug. That causes it to drop to windowed mode. Also there's a button in the command menu, at the bottom, in the middle.
