Size: 2.2 x 0.5 x 0.8 cm

This was my first Rhodochrosite and I feel in love with the pink/orange methiolade color of the mineral. Normally I prefer more complete crystals and a matrix, but made an exception for this piece. The color is very good but it does have the damage you can see in this photo -- it is a crystal shard. Still, what's there of the crystal is transparent, with the traditional color you'd expect from a Rhodochrosite.
