Uvite/Dravite (Tourmaline)
Size: 1 x 2 cm
The two main crystals in this thumbnail speciman are in excellent shape, with lovely color, mixed in with some quartz. Very good transparency. Shown resting on Halide (discussed elsewhere).
From Bahia, Brazil. Purchased from Earthlight December 1990, $20.00. Labeled as Uvite, but seems to match description and examples of Dravite.

Uvite (Tourmaline)
Size: 1.6 x 1.5 x 1.5 cm Couple of the crystals are 0.5cm long
Pretty piece forming almost a sphere of radiating crystals. This is a small thumbnail speciman, with some very distinct crystals in excellent shape. Lovely color. Looks good no matter how you turn it. Some quartz mixed in with the Tourmaline
